Fanning Congratulations

Hi Girlies,

It's Friday again or I would say TGIF!! And that also means there is a new challenge posted on Paper Cutz Challenge blog. This time with the old DT inspirations, you get to see many fresh inspirations for the new DT members also. And I belong to later category...lolzz. So, this is my first post as a DT member. I was so excited and had fun making card for this challenge :).

This week we have an easy-paesy Recipe Challenge - 1-2-3. All you have to use is 1 Ribbon, 2 Buttons and 3 Colors. See, how easy is this? So, here is my card for this sweet simple recipe.

Here is the close up of this beautiful bird, fanning her feathers and saying "Congratulations".
This time, I created a slightly different card. So, sharing one more pic with you of the difference :)
This card is a hybrid of stamping, distressing, masking, shadowing, scalloping and accessorizing. I used masking grass bed, stamped flowers on it, double stamped the peacock image (for shadowing affect), distress the scalloped edges and accesorizing with ribbon, buttons and blings :).

Don't forget to hop onto PCC blog to admire the beautiful creations created by other DT members.

This card is also going to these challenges:

Christmas In July

Hey there,

A festive preparation has started in every blog and corner. People are creating cards in advance to avoid celebration rush. Even the stores are offering "Christmas in July" sale. Can you beat that? :)
I also thought of joining the fun :). So, heres my share of preparation:

The beautiful digi is from Amber Ink. Isn't it gorgeous? She got plenty of the likes in her kitty, just hop onto her blog :) and you will be amazed. As of the card, both the images were printed separately and I positioned the girlie as if she is ornamenting the tree. I placed her with pop-dots for some natural impression. And for some added sparkle, I made the swirls of light around the stem of the tree. I used extensive amount of blings and glitters. The edges were inked with glitter glue. I cut out sentiment in a banner shape and dab it all with 3D paint in glittering gold. It is attached to the card with cute butterfly brads.

Here is an another look of my card.

Card with Fruity Wishes

Hello Creative Crafters,

I am out with an another card :). I made this card for one of my friend's daughter. She is 6 months old and truly a cutee pie :). This is for her ceremony called "First Rice Ceremony". [In India its significance is after this ceremony a baby can eat semi-solid & solid foods :)]. Different places, varied ceremonies but with the sole purpose -  Come Together and Enjoy!! Am I right??

So suiting the occasion, I chose food theme :). And for some added fun, I mixed it with different challenges :)).
Here's is my take of the card:
I used a beautiful sketch drawn by Sharon from Truly Scrumptious Challenge 35 - and used the theme "Strawberries and Cream".

Since, the card was to be signed by group of friends say 20 ;), I had to make it really big ;)... I took 2 whole sheets, punch them from top and joined them with a ribbon. The DPs are from Martha Stewart. The beautiful 'peeker' digi is from Bugaboo Stamps and colored it with water-color pencils. I clipped various pictures of fruits and food items and color them with copic & markers. For the 3D effect, I pasted all the pictures first on form sheet and them pasted them with sticky tape. The sentiment is written on a basket shaped cut-out and the woven print is by me with color pencils.
Here is an another look of the card:
and another one :)

And one more from other dimension :)
