Just Saying Hi!

Hey Everyone,

Its Wednesday, time for another Stamp it up post for Blackleaf Design Studio and also only two more days to go for the weekend.. wohoo!! So, this time I chose to work with another one (rather I would say two) of the wonderful creations of Tanvi from the Blackleaf Studios and these are from the stampset called "Sea Life Stamps". Have a look at what I created:

A use of net/mesh (I saved it from a pack of gourmet potatoes, thought of using it for some project and finally did it), patterned paper depicting water and ripples... the orange colored fish with some golden touch-ups here and there... the beige cardstock is inked on the edges and also dabbed some blue with a sponge on the whole CS. With blings, some more ripples and a sentiment completes the look of this card.
Here is the golden fish :P :

I used a sketch from Everything but the kitchen sink.
And I am playing along the following challenges:
Creative Card Crew - 'Sparkle & Shine'
Pile it On - challenge#32 'get into shape'
Delightful Challenges - 'animal with dots and stripes'
Stampin' B's Design Team - challenge#71 'create a scene'
Lexi's Creation - challenge#20 'yellow & orange'
ABC Challenge - b for blue
Moxie fab World - Tuesday trigger 'pic inspiration'
Creative Inspiration - challenge#40 'recycle element' (I used the mest/net from my kitchen)
Sarah Hurley - challenge#4 'animal'
Practical Scrappers - monthly challenge 'water for august'

Hope you like the card and the images. You can also get a chance to win some images from Blackleaf Design. Just hop onto the blog and leave a comment on the post. One lucky winner each day will get a freebie.. :) Or just shop the entire set from Blackleaf Studio.

Recipe of this card:
Paper - PP from Colorbok, Cream CS from Recollection, Mesh from my stash
Image - Blackleaf Studio
Others - Pencil water colors, blings and gel pen

Happy Crafting!
xoxo

The close up of your fish is fantastic. What a clever idea with that mesh from the gourmet potatoes. It was perfect! So glad you joined the Stampin B's this week with your 'scene'.
