Spookiliciously Cute - PPC#59
Hey Everyone,
Its Friday again!! So, a new challenge at Paper Cutz with a much awaited weekend..lolz. I don't know about you, but I definitely look forward to the weekend as a school going child :D. Jokes apart!!!
Now, onto the challenge, this week at the Paper Cutz; we are portraying a Halloween theme, "BUT with a TWIST"... You have to create a card, LO or craft project for Halloween using any colors you'd like; And the twist is NO BLACK or ORANGE. Isn't is fun to use different colors for Halloween?
So here is my project for this spooky theme. The only difference is mine is mile apart from being spooky..lolzz I created a treat bag and a card to complement each other. :)
Isn't it spookiliciously cute?? Here is a pic of the card.
And a treat bag -
I am sure, anyone would love receiving treats in this treat bag :D. I created this treat bag following Mary's Tutorial. It is created by recycling junk envelopes. Great idea Mary!! I always hated to throw them away in a trash (How much paper we waste?). Its a nice way bring them in use.
For rest of my card, I used "spider web" Digi Paper from shopblackleaf.com, printed them on green CS. The CS in pink is also created by using this dead (kind of) tree from Trick and Treat Set from the same shop. I made it into a digi paper by setting the miniature size of tree many times in a page. The ghosts and sentiment are stamped and cut outs. Other embellishments include broom made of felt cloth and a ribbon for hanging the board.
I am entering this project in the following challenges:
Paper Sundaes - challenge#35 'use 3 different embellishments' {I used ribbon, felt cloth and wooden stick for broom}
Simon Says -'Move it' {the ghosts are actually in the air... so they are moving.. I hope it qualifies the condition :x}
Stamping Vacation - No No challenge 'no sparkle'
ABC Challenge -D for Distressing
The Stamp Man - challenge#5 'distress'
Scrappekammeret - challenge#14 'anything goes'
Stamp Something - September Digi day 'use a digi'
So peeps, hop onto PPC blog and enter your card for the challenge.
Have a happy weekend.
xoxo

Goodie Basket for Blackleaf Studios
Hello Girls,
Hope you are enjoying the mix of sun and chills. Here, the fall is setting in, leaves have started to change colors and I am sure in no time we are surrounded by beautiful vibrant hues.
A quick post for this morning. At Blackleaf Studios, it's my turn today to post for a Step-by-Step Thursday'. So I decided to create this yumm goodie/favor basket. I found the template at StampTV and immediately felt the desire to create something like this :)). It was so much fun creating this and you got lots of option for experimenting with colors, design, style, etc etc.
Here is what I created:
This is how it looks like from sideways:
I used one of the image from Blackleaf Studios namely Cupcake Stamps. The entire set is so scrumptious, that you just want to grab it and put it in your mouth..lolzzzz. Here is a close up of this yummy cupcake:
For the details on how I made this basket, hop onto my post on Backleaf Studios.
I am thinking, why not play some challenges with this. So, I am entering this card to:
Cupcake Inspiration - challenge#75 'pic inspiration'
PaperSundaes - challenge#33 'mixed mediums' {I colored my image with pencil colors and the add tinch of shading with markers}
Daisy Doodles - challenge#16 'anything goes'
Your Next Stamp - challenge#24 'anything goes'
Pile It On - challenge#35 'layers'
Color Throwdown - challenge#109 'color inspiration'
Etsy Inspired - challenge#104 'picture inspiration' {my project has basket with cupcake}
Its all for now. See you tomorrow with another creation for Paper Cutz Challenge. Till then have a wonderful day!!

Hi Girlies,

This time with the old DT inspirations, you get to see many fresh inspirations for the new DT members also. And I belong to later category...lolzz. So, this is my first post as a DT member. I was so excited and had fun making card for this challenge :).
This week we have an easy-paesy Recipe Challenge - 1-2-3. All you have to use is 1 Ribbon, 2 Buttons and 3 Colors. See, how easy is this? So, here is my card for this sweet simple recipe.
Here is the close up of this beautiful bird, fanning her feathers and saying "Congratulations".

This card is a hybrid of stamping, distressing, masking, shadowing, scalloping and accessorizing. I used masking grass bed, stamped flowers on it, double stamped the peacock image (for shadowing affect), distress the scalloped edges and accesorizing with ribbon, buttons and blings :).
